Coming from a surfing background, Shin Sanbongi discovered skateboarding and quickly mastered the art of riding a board as if he were catching waves. As the first Asian rider to join us, he marked a milestone with his standout full part in our Japan-based film “Everything is Normal.” He could’ve gone pro in soccer, but instead, he became pro on Polar, a dad of two, and living with his family in Chigasaki, bringing his smooth, unique style to the Japanese coastline.
