PUSHING BLOCKS: NYC 2013 - 2016
We were always blessed having human beings around us who have amazing talents besides skating. Paul Grund brought a camera on trips ever since and besides all of us together filming for a video, shooting photos for a magazine and more, he captured a lot of memories on his own. He decided to share those photographs, some of them never been released, in an online series. For the first installment, “Pushing Blocks" he decided to take us all the way back to our early to mid 2010s NYC trips, which resulted in our 2016 full-length "I like it here inside my mind. Don't wake me this time".

“The most meaningful photo I see in this group is a photo of Alv doing a wallie over a police barrier. I’ll never forget this photo actually because every time I see these police posts I have this vivid memory of Alv eating an entire dinner of nachos and drinks. After a full day of skating and filming. A long day. Next thing I know Pontus is getting excited to film a clip and he moves this police barricade over to this cellar door and props it up. Within a few minutes he’s jamming over it and the clip comes out so good but I could never imagine getting myself to fly around with a stomach full of heavy Mexican food.“
